3 Days 2 Nights Mae Tang Trekking (Private Group)

Route: Mok Fah Waterfall – Pong Deut Hot Spring – Karen hill tribe village – bamboo rafting – Lahu hill tribe village.

Activity Information & Itinerary
Day 1: Chiang Mai – Hot Spring – Karen hill tribe village
9.00 a.m. Depart by truck to Mae Tang, short stop at Mae Rim market to shop some food for making in the forest.
11.00 a.m. Stop at Mok Fah Waterfall for swimming, relax and lunch.
01.00 p.m. Transfer by truck to Pong Deut Hot Spring trek about 1½ hour to Baan Pong Noi, Karen hill tribe village, continue trekking another 2 ½ hour to Baan Mae Manai, Karen hill tribe village.
06.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at Baan Mae Manai. There’s usually a camp fire.
Day 2: Karen Hill tribe– bamboo raft – Lahu hill tribe village
7.30 a.m. Breakfast at the village.
9.30 a.m. Trek about 2 hour to Huai Yen for Lunch, Cooking on the bamboo.
02.00 p.m. Trekking another 1 ½ hour to take a bamboo raft along the Taeng River to Baan Pong Ngan, a Lahu hill tribe village.
06.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at Baan Pong Ngan. There’s usually a camp fire and you will see a traditional Lahu show.
Day 3: Karen hill tribe village – bamboo raft – Chiang Mai
8.00 a.m. Breakfast at the village.
9.30 a.m. Take a very smooth and exciting bamboo rafting along the Mae Taeng River for 2-3 hour.
Noon Lunch at Sop Kai villge.
02.00 p.m. Transfer back to Chiang Mai by local truck.
02.30 p.m. Elephant bath and keep food.
06.00 p.m. Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Duration: 3 Days 2 Nights program
Departure at approximately 7.00 a.m.
Return back to the hotel about 6 p.m.
