“Laos fly fishing” may seem like an oxymoron to some, but the remote parts of the country offer some interesting opportunities – as recently discovered on a survey trip… The Wolf Barb looks uncannily similar to Northern Pike in profile, but it’s stripes are quite unique. Given that nothing like it appears on any Freshwater Fish lists for Laos, it may possibly be a previously unknown and unclassified freshwater species within Laos.
